Burning Man 2006

In 2006 I traveled to the Burning Man festival with my friend and lover Laurie Farrington. We spent a couple days in beautiful San Francisco, a night in dreadful Reno, and then went on for 8 days in Black Rock City, the Burning Man Festival. A month or so before our journey was to begin Laurie had to go in for surgury on her knee. At the time of the trip she was able to walk only short distances. In San Francisco we purchased a used wheelchair and for the rest of the trip I provided some of the finest wheelchair transportation services in SF or BRC . . . . . . We stayed with some generous wonderful folks at the Poly Paradise theme camp. I daresay we did and saw more than many on foot or even with bicycle. Next year Laurie intends to be able to go dancing all night long at the great boogie places all over the playa. And yes, I am planning to be there again... The challenge, as always, time and money.... this year especially so since I returned from my trip to unemployment. Hire me!
